They paste it. You are connected, directly.
No server
Peers find each other through public relays, then talk over encrypted WebRTC. Nothing of yours passes through a machine we run.
No account
A name is all you type. The app makes an id on your device and keeps it so you can come back.
Your history, on your device
Messages are stored locally. Rejoin and they are there. Leave and forget, and they are gone.
On a VPN? Bring your relay
Some networks block direct connections. Put your own TURN server in Settings, Network, and the call goes through it, still encrypted end to end.
Same app, its own window.
The desktop version adds screen sharing with a picker and stays out of the browser. Installers come from the latest release.
Is there really no server?open
Discovery uses public Nostr relays, which only carry encrypted connection offers. Everything after that is a direct peer-to-peer connection.
What if we cannot connect?open
Some networks and VPNs block direct connections. Open Settings, Network, and add a TURN relay of your own (Cloudflare, Metered or a coturn you host); the call goes through it, still encrypted.
Who can remove people?open
The person who created the room, and whoever they named to act when they are away. Their keys sign the room name and every removal, so no one else can fake either.
Does it cost anything?open
No. It is a small tool by ARCVS, a software studio, made by w1ldcrow. If it is useful to you, a coffee is welcome.
